1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using this website and our services, you agree to be bound by
these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our
services. Rahul Mehandi Artist reserves the right to modify these terms at any time
without prior notice.
These terms apply to all customers, clients, and users of our website and services in Balasore, Odisha
and surrounding areas.
2. Our Services
Rahul Mehandi Artist offers professional mehndi (henna) application services for all occasions, including:
- Bridal mehndi designs with intricate patterns
- Wedding ceremony and haldi mehndi services
- Engagement and pre-wedding mehndi
- Party and celebration mehndi applications
- School and group mehndi events
- Traditional Arabic, Indian, and Fusion mehndi designs
- Custom design consultations and personalized artistry
- Bridal preparation and special occasion mehndi services
Service details, availability, pricing, and specific requirements are provided on our website and in
quotations. All services are subject to availability and customer confirmation.
3. Booking & Reservation Policy
3.1 Booking Process
To book our services, you must:
- Fill out the booking form with accurate and complete information
- Receive and confirm a detailed quotation from our team
- Pay the required advance payment or deposit as per our payment schedule
- Receive a booking confirmation via email or phone
3.2 Advance Booking Requirements
We recommend booking at least:
- Bridal Mehndi: 15-30 days in advance (for design consultation)
- Wedding & Ceremony Mehndi: 7-15 days in advance
- Party & Celebration Mehndi: 5-7 days in advance
- Group/School Events: 10-14 days in advance
- Same-Day Bookings: Subject to availability; additional surcharge may apply
3.3 Venue & Client Requirements
You must ensure that:
- We have proper access to the venue for mehndi application
- The venue has adequate space for our artist and proper lighting
- You have the authority to book our services for the event
- All special requirements (design preferences, duration, guests) are communicated at booking
- Contact person is available on the day of the event
- Clients are available and ready for mehndi application at scheduled time
Additional charges may apply for:
- Venues located significantly beyond Balasore city limits
- Events requiring extended duration beyond standard booking time
- Large groups requiring multiple artists
- Late-night or early-morning appointments
Important: Please ensure that clients applying mehndi are well-prepared (clean hands/feet),
available at the scheduled time, and willing to keep mehndi wet for 4-6 hours for better color development.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Payment Structure
- Full Payment: Payment in full or as agreed upon before the service date (preferred)
- Advance Booking: 50% advance at the time of booking for advance confirmations
- Accepted Payment Methods: UPI, Online Bank Transfer, Credit/Debit Card, WhatsApp Pay, or Cash
4.2 Payment Processing
All online payments are processed securely. We do not store credit card details on our servers.
Payment confirmation will be provided via email/SMS. Payments are binding and confirmations are issued after successful payment.
4.3 Taxes & Additional Charges
All prices mentioned are inclusive of applicable taxes. Additional charges may apply for:
- Travel and transportation for venues beyond Balasore city
- Complex custom designs requiring additional time
- Bridal mehndi packages with consultation and trials
- Same-day or emergency bookings
- Extended duration beyond standard booking time
- Multiple artists for large groups or events
4.4 Late Payment Consequences
If the payment is not received by the confirmed date, Rahul Mehandi Artist reserves the right to:
- Cancel the booking without further notice
- Forfeit any advance payment
- Not provide services on the scheduled date
4.5 Quote Validity
Prices quoted are valid for 7 days from the quotation date. We reserve the right to revise prices if
confirmation and payment are delayed beyond this period.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
5.1 Customer Cancellation Policy
Refund amounts based on cancellation notice period:
- More than 14 days before booking: 90% refund of paid amount
- 7-14 days before booking: 50% refund of paid amount
- 3-6 days before booking: 25% refund of paid amount
- Less than 3 days or day of event: No refund (amount forfeited)
- No-show: 0% refund; full amount non-refundable
5.2 Event Postponement
If you wish to postpone your mehndi appointment to another date:
- You must inform us at least 7 days before the original booking date
- The payment can be adjusted towards the new date without additional charges
- New date must be confirmed within 2 months of original booking
- Postponement is subject to availability and artist confirmation
5.3 Company Cancellation
Rahul Mehandi Artist reserves the right to cancel services under the following
circumstances:
- The payment is not received by the confirmed booking date
- The client engages in abusive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior towards our artist
- The client is unwilling to follow mehndi care instructions (keeping it wet for proper color development)
- Any health or safety concerns (allergies, skin conditions, etc.) make service unsafe
- Unforeseen circumstances make service delivery impossible
In such cases, a full refund of all payments received will be provided, or we will reschedule the
event at our earliest convenience without additional charges.
5.4 Force Majeure
We are not liable for cancellations or service disruptions due to:
- Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, storms, etc.)
- Government restrictions, curfews, or event bans
- Health emergencies involving the artist
- Extreme weather conditions affecting travel
- Venue cancellation or unavailability due to circumstances beyond our control
In such cases, we will attempt to reschedule your event at the earliest possible date at no
additional cost, or provide a full refund of the advance payment.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1 Service Disclaimer
Our services are provided on an "as is" basis. While we strive to deliver high-quality, beautiful mehndi designs,
we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or absolute color development due to:
- Individual skin type and natural body chemistry variations
- Henna quality and seasonal availability
- Proper aftercare and mehndi care procedures followed by client
- Environmental factors (humidity, temperature, sun exposure)
6.2 What We Are NOT Responsible For
Rahul Mehandi Artist is not responsible for:
- Inadequate mehndi color development due to poor aftercare
- Skin reactions or allergies (please inform about sensitive skin)
- Mehndi fading, smudging, or damage caused by client neglect or improper care
- Event cancellations by the client, guests, or third parties
- Client unavailability or non-appearance at scheduled time
- Damage to client's clothing or property
- Client dissatisfaction with design choices approved during consultation
- Venue unavailability or access issues on the day of appointment
6.3 Maximum Liability
Our maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid for services. We are not liable for
indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
6.4 Photographic/Video Rights
By booking our services, you grant us permission to photograph/video our mehndi work at your event
for portfolio and promotional purposes. We may use these images on our website, Instagram, Facebook, or
other marketing materials. If you do not wish your photos to be shared, please inform us at the time of booking.
7. User Conduct
When using our services and website, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information
- Not engage in illegal, fraudulent, abusive, or deceptive behavior
- Treat our staff and team members with respect and courtesy
- Respect the intellectual property and privacy of others
- Not harass, threaten, or abuse our team members
- Not attempt to access unauthorized areas of our website
- Not share your account credentials with unauthorized persons
- Not misuse or manipulate our services
- Comply with all local laws and regulations
Violation of these conduct terms may result in:
- Immediate termination of services
- Forfeiture of advance payment
- Exclusion from future services
- Legal action as applicable
8. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, mehndi design concepts, and graphics, is the property of Rahul Mehandi Artist or its content suppliers and is
protected by copyright laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any mehndi design concepts or content without our prior written
permission. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to view website content for personal,
non-commercial use only.
You retain ownership of any personal content you submit (such as design preferences or photos). By
booking our services, you grant us permission to photograph and use mehndi artwork images for marketing, promotional, and
portfolio purposes on our website and social media channels (unless you request otherwise).
9. Dispute Resolution
9.1 Informal Resolution
If you have a complaint or dispute regarding our services, please contact us immediately with
detailed information. We will attempt to resolve the matter within 7 business days of receiving your
complaint.
9.2 Formal Mediation
If informal resolution fails, both parties agree to attempt mediation through a neutral third party
before pursuing legal action. The cost of mediation will be shared equally.
9.3 Jurisdiction & Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India, specifically the laws applicable in
Madhya Pradesh state. Any legal action or proceeding related to these terms must be brought exclusively
in the courts of Balasore, Odisha.
9.4 Arbitration
For disputes exceeding the jurisdiction of consumer courts, both parties agree to binding arbitration
as per the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
10. Changes to Terms
Rahul Mehandi Artist reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of our
services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
We will notify you of significant changes via email, WhatsApp, or prominent notice on our website. It is your
responsibility to review these terms periodically for updates.
